El Eternauta es una fascinante historieta argentina de ciencia ficción, cuyo mundo ficticio ha capturado la imaginación de generaciones enteras. Recientemente, un grupo de talentosos alumnos de Dirección de Fotografía del Sindicato de La Industria Cinematográfica Argentina se embarcó en la emocionante tarea de llevar a la pantalla esta legendaria historia. Me solicitaron que realizara la escenografía, y abrazando la visión de los cineastas, decidí crear una representación que no solo fuera estéticamente atractiva, sino que también transmitiera un tono teatral muy expresivo y cálido. Mi objetivo era dar vida al mundo de El Eternauta de una manera que deleitara tanto a los ojos como a los sentidos.
El Eternauta is a fascinating Argentine science fiction comic book, whose fictional world has captured the imagination of entire generations. Recently, a group of talented students of Cinematographic Direction at the Argentine Film Industry Union embarked on the exciting task of bringing this legendary story to the screen. They asked me to create the scenography, and embracing the filmmakers' vision, I decided to create a representation that was not only aesthetically attractive, but also conveyed a very expressive and warm theatrical tone. My goal was to bring the world of El Eternauta to life in a way that would delight both the eyes and the senses.
